Fawad Chaudhry, Sushma Swaraj and the art of apne kaam se kaam rakhna
While it appears that the India-Pakistan situation may be getting cooler now, things are still not exactly calm. The recent incident about the forced conversion of two Hindu girls and meddling questions from officials on the Indian side don’t help the situation, at all.
So according to news, two Hindu girls were allegedly abducted and forcefully converted to Islam
It was said that the girls were then married to Muslim men and were sent from Ghotki to Rahim Yar Khan. PM Khan ordered a thorough investigation of the case and further asked to retrieve the girls. Here’s the news:

But chowkidar Sushma Swaraj raised concerns about the forced conversions in Pakistan
She said that she has instructed the Indian High Commissioner based in Pakistan to send a report on the matter

Fawad Chaudhry immediately responded asserting that this is an INTERNAL issue of Pakistan and India has NO right to interfere in the internal affairs of the country
He further said that the Naya Pakistan is capable enough to safeguard the rights of minorities. He also mocked the clandestine operation of hinduvata politics hidden under the cover of ‘secularism’.

People were surprised how India had the audacity to interfere in the internal matters of Pakistan

And they urged Sushma to focus on Indian matters

The Indian Minister couldn’t really hold back her frustration and responded to Fawad
She claimed that a mere demand for the report made the Pakistani minister worried.

The prompt response by Fawad Chaudhry needs to be appreciated. Indian authorities need to understand that Pakistan is a sovereign state which is fully capable of protecting its citizens which include minorities too thus no Indian interference will be ever welcomed. In reference to the case of those Hindu girls, The PM has already issued orders to confirm the details of the matter.
We already know that the situation between the two countries is very tense, statements like the way Sushma made aren’t going to help any side so it’s best to stay in your own lane and keep your cool, focusing on one’s own house.
