There’s a section in Karachi’s Clifton area known as E Street. There’s also Tauheed Commercial and 26th Street in its vicinity. This entire area is known for some of Karachi’s top fine and casual dining restaurants. Its surrounded by designer salons and boutiques. Nadia Hussain and N-Gents are two that come to mind. If its classy dining you’re looking for, then do check out the following 11 restaurants that you should visit if you’re in the area.
Mews
Mews is a nice and cosy casual dining establishment. It’s borderline fine dining too so you get classy food in a classy ambiance. The food from the wood-fired pizzas to sandwiches are all excellent. The decor is nice and looks great whether you come in for lunch or dinner.
Xander’s
Xander’s opened its first location in the area and since then it’s been one of the most popular places to visit there. It’s got both indoor and outdoor seating so you can enjoy either setting. Everything here from the food to the drinks is great. I’m personally a fan of the wood-fired pizzas.
Cosmopolitan
Cosmopolitan is a great place where you don’t just get excellent food and service, its where you and bae can enjoy date nights too. The ambiance and decor make for a great dinner out with your special one. Do try the Bursting Parcels and Beef Medallions when you’re there.
Khanji
Khanji is perhaps the most different from the rest of the restaurants in the vicinity. It’s truck-art inspired decor and ambiance along with fine desi cuisine make this place worth visiting. You’ll even get dynamite prawns and khow suey here too!
Cafe Aylanto
Cafe Aylanto is a gorgeous place to take your bae on date night. It’s fine dining with fine food and that means it’s pricey too. However, if you want to treat your special one, then you’ve got to spend too!
Cafe Flo
If you want to enjoy a seven course French meal with friends or bae, then this is the place to go. Flo is definitely on the pricey side but the food is excellent. The steaks are definitely worth having.
The Valley
The Valley used to be known as Flemish. It’s another casual dining place in the area that’s relatively recent. You can order burgers, pizzas, and more and at the same time you can connect your music to their Bluetooth speakers and let the restaurant know what you rock to!
Orrery
Orrrey has Cafe Ocoa and O’Grill under the same roof. Cafe Ocoa is basically a coffee lounge where one can chill and hang out with friends. O’Grill, on the terrace, is all about live barbecue. So you can have awesome barbecue and then later have coffee with friends before you call it a night.
The Deli
The Deli is a nice cross between fine and casual dining. It’s got an excellent breakfast and brunch menu. There’s a nice terrace area where you can chill with friends too. Overall, the food is quite diverse from steaks, pastas to red snappers and more. You’ll definitely find a few options that fit your taste.
The Patio
The Patio offers a wide variety of dishes on its menu such as steaks, salads, pastas, sandwiches, and more. Price-wise, it’s not as expensive as Flo and Aylanto and it’s setting is very relaxing especially in pleasant weather.
Cafe Koel
Cafe Koel or Koel Cafe is a restaurant that’s part of the Koel designer boutique. It’s got both an outdoor and indoor setting and it’s perfect to chill with friends, family and even your bae. The food here is a mix of continental and Pakistani cuisine so you’ll have a lot to choose from.
