Pakistani Celebrities Are Speaking Up About Meesha Shafi’s Allegations Against Ali Zafar

With Meesha Shafi having accused Ali Zafar for multiple accounts of sexual harassment, Ali Zafar replying and denying the events, other people coming up with their stories and run-ins with Ali, some celebrities taking weird stances, and some demanding answers, we have seen a whole wave of celebrities coming up and talking about the issue. Ayesha Omer spoke about how coming out with something like Meesha’s incident requires a lot of inner strength and courage, while talking to a news channel at the Karachi premiere for “Motorcycle Girl”

At the same event actress Naveen Waqar expressed her shock over the incident saying you always believe that something like this will never happen around you, but then it does

Hamza Ali Abbasi also said, one more time, that clear lines should be drawn between two people interacting with each other so such incidents are avoided in the future

Adnan Siddiqui however, extremely disappointingly, made a mockery out of the whole event, saying that all members of the industry should also brace themselves because they’ll come after them now, while constantly laughing

Ahsan Khan spoke about how we should take sexual harassment very very seriously

Momina Mustehsan was on fireee with her statement on the whole issue

And called for an #ImSorry movement to start from those who perpetrate harassment
