It’s December and well, 2018 is about to end. Yup, pata nahin saal kahan chala gaya! Year ending is also synonymous with people planning how to welcome the new year, be it New Year’s Eve parties or family dinners. A big part of planning these activities is planning what to wear. It’s a BIG consideration. You want to walk into the New Year in style, looking fly AF.

If you’re still lost as to what to wear, no worries, we’re here to help.

Let’s start with something pretty sleek and simple.

I’m personally a big believer in all black outfits. They’re super cool, and add a layer of badass-ity to anyone who dons it. Start with a simple black tee, with a black bomber jacket, slim fit black pants/jeans, and right at the end, black leather boots. Wah wah wah.

Denim jackets are a pretty awesome staple to have in your wardrobe, and what better to wear it, than the winters.

Denim jackets look the best with either plain tees, or even with bold stripes. The look can be paired with the hot shoe trend of the past year- white canvas shoes.

Ladies, if you want a look ‘layered’ look, then this is for you!

A simple red sweater is great, but it usually needs a little work. A simple gold rope necklace, paired with a knitted black scarf can really elevate a look.

Oversized trench coats have been a HUGE trend this season and are the best of unisex fashion.

My personal favorite is the green trend, with solid colored pants, and a graphic tee. If you want to ‘dress’ this look up and more it more put together, you can pair this with a plain button-down shirt.

Blazers on jeans are a good way to dress yourself up but also stay a little casual.

Grey blazers are pretty sexy, to be honest. There’s the traditional blazer cut that’s more manly (still can be worn by anyone) and there are some blazer cuts that are specifically for women. In either case, the styling is the same. Grey blazers are easily pairable with dark wash jeans, and a simple tee, or if you’re feeling fancy, a button-down shirt.

However, if you REALLY want to be center of attention, red leather jackets are a sure bet.

There’s just something about a red leather moto jacket that just screams ‘LOOK AT ME’, and also ‘I have my sh*t together’. Red moto jacket with a graphic tee or even a floral top.

Wide leg pants are also in and are definitely are VERY VERY sexy.

Jumpsuits are definitely very dressy options.

Paired with strap heels and hoop earrings- you’re pratically ready to burn down the city.

If you’re feeling adventurous, then maybe you could even wear a dress.

Dresses are just the perfect option for a New Year Eve party. It’s dressy, but it’s also a little formal too. The right combination of both.

Sequins are also a fun way to stand out in a crowd!

Lastly, the New Year’s Eve party option that needs serious consideration is the ‘Little Black Dress’.
