Hamza Ali Abbasi just shared his reason for marrying Naimal Khawar
Recently, Hamza Ali Abbasi confirmed, in what can only be called an essay, that he’s getting married to actress Naimal Khawar. The news in itself was great, but then people started deconstructing his essay.

The fact that he pretty much stomped on the idea of love and relationships, stating that he’s marrying his “platonic friend” because he wants to strengthen his connection to God – well, it started a debate, as one would expect.
His statement didn’t go down well with a lot of people. Soon people took to Twitter to point out how it was either absurd or problematic.
While Hamza may have his own thinking, according to these people, he shouldn’t be stating it publicly when it is that problematic because his opinions influence the public.

However, some people are defending him too.
While many were outraging over and ridiculing Hamza for his essay and stating whatever his reasons were for marrying Naimal, there were those who felt that the ridiculous brouhaha was uncalled for. Whatever reasons Hamza may have articulated can’t be invalidated just because we disagree with them.
