The long-awaited wedding festivities for Minal Khan and Ahsan Ikram have officially begun!

Minal Khan and Ahsan Ikram, who got engaged in June, are all set to tie the knot this week on September 10.

But, never a dull moment for these two as the couple made sure to kick off the festivities with a fun-filled, lush and flamboyant dholki attended by close friends and family.

Both the bride and the groom took to Instagram stories to share snippets and behind-the-scenes of the dholki preparations with keen friends and followers, who were on the edge of their seat to know more after the two shared invitation cards on their Instagram.

The event, hosted by Ahsan’s family, was a lively affair!

The stage adorned by the shades of orange, red, and pink was a sight for sore eyes.

The event, decorated by Innovative Events, befitted the color scheme of the soon-to-be-married pair as Minal Khan donned a simple yet elegant Maya Pret traditional orange ‘Taabir’ sharara with a hint of golden embroidery and the intricate dabka and kinari work. The gorgeous actress paired it with a sleek ponytail, subtle makeup, and minimal jewelry by Ali Javeri Jewellers.

Her beau Ahsan Mohsin wore a traditional Nauman Arfeen cream-colored sherwani with a vibrant overcoat.

The bride-to-be, Minal Khan, took to Instagram to share a ravishing photo of the couple happily dancing. To which she wrote the caption, “Twirling with my one and only.”

Videos and photos shared by the friends and attendants from the eventful night are all over social media, of the couple and friends happily swaying their hips to the beats.

Moreover, Minal Khan’s twin sister Aiman Khan, and brother-in-law Muneeb Butt were also prominent in the festivities.

Aiman twinned with her adorable two-year-old daughter Amal Muneeb, wearing a matching purple ensemble. Whereas Muneeb Butt cut clean in a plain white kurta with a topcoat.

The couple announced their wedding and reception dates by sharing photos of the invitation cards on their Instagram. The wedding is all set to happen on September 10 followed by a valima on September 12.
