It all started when one of the most popular leaders of Pakistan tied the knot and people got their first ever “National Bhabi” but as we all know, good news doesn’t last long for this nation so after celebrations, news, views and analyses over the Pakistani version of “royal wedding” we were blindsided by the announcement of divorce between Imran Khan and Reham Khan. Ever since the news broke during the early hours of Friday, everyone in Pakistan has decided that they are a part of this couple’s marriage and have to have an opinion on this development.
Obviously, it is a matter of much importance for us to talk about a couple getting divorced because, whatever happens in our leader’s lives is of national importance. Let’s take a look at on some of the reactions people have had to Imran Khan and Reham Khan’s divorce:
Some expressed their absolute grief
I am very sad for #RehamKhan

Others were simply disappointed
And some people were in utter disbelief

Then, of course, there were those who couldn’t help but make a joke out of this very personal time in the life of the Khans
Bhabi jaa nahi rahi , Bhabi jaa chukki hai .. 😂#RehamKhan

Someone even went Hollywood on this divorce…
And those against the ideology of the party felt this was a time to go political

Someone who is perpetually disappointed in Pakistan as a nation also poured their heart out
And corrosive statements were a dime a dozen

Fortune tellers went back into business, also
If PTI loses, Ik has a good excuse to come up with.
People also made sure Jemima Khan Goldsmith was also remembered at this occasion

Rare among the crowd, but some even had actual words of wisdom
Whatever happens, we wish them both a happy, successful life and hope they find peace and contentment.
