Sure, almost everyone thinks they don’t have the perfect body. But especially when you’re ‘bigger’ than others, everyone has opinions about your body. Literally, everyone makes it their business to comment, give suggestions or feel pity for you.

Here are some of the things not-so-thin Pakistanis have to hear on a daily basis:

“MashAllah khatay peetey khaandan se hain”

Whenever someone meets you for the first time.

“Uff I’m so fat. OMG, I need to lose weight like RIGHT NOW”

Everyone is born different, being healthy (the good kind, not the Pakistani ‘healthy) and happy is important, not being thin, or white, or tall. So next time you want to put down that friend of yours think about your wobbly tooth, or thin hair or that weird nose of yours. You never know if someone is fat due to a medical condition, what state of mind they are in and whether it is even in their control. You could even drive someone to hurt themselves.

And fat people, fuck the world. You do you!
