This is Pakistani actress, Komal Aziz Khan.
She has starred in multiple shows that many of us watch on a daily basis. You may have seen her in Ishq-e-Benaam…
…Or Saheliyaan and Bay Khudi.
You may also have seen her more recently in Gumraah.
Through her hard work and talent, Komal Aziz Khan has been climbing the ladder of fame and success. However, a recent interview released by Samaa TV shows that no one is above and beyond the clutches of corruption and violence.
In the following interview, Komal claims that her landlord tried to extort money out of her and resorted to violence against her uncle and sister when he was turned down.
She goes on to explain how she lives with alone with her mother and sister following her father’s death. Moreover, she believes that this could be the reason behind the landlord asking for more money. She also lashed out against the corrupt system that oppresses those who cannot speak out.

People who saw the interview were highly disturbed by her claims. The fact that someone was allegedly using Wadeira culture to violently threaten people didn’t sit well with many viewers.
Some spoke up about how this is the way of the system.
Others, unfortunately, advised Komal to return to the US to be safe.
There were those questioned why she would return to a nation that is already suffering.
And those who pointed out some form of action should be taken against the landlord.
And some called for unity in such troubling times.
It’s immensely brave of Komal to speak up at a time when others would succumb to the pressure and stay silent. Let us hope that she gets the justice she deserves.
