Earlier today, Mark Zuckerberg expressed his support for Muslim communities around the world in the wake of rising Islamophobia around the world. Given the fact that Zuckerberg is one of the most influential people in the world, this should serve as a giant f*ck you to hatemongers around the world. Especially Donald Trump, who with all his money still can’t get a decent set of hair.
Having recently become a father, Zuckerberg stresses on the importance of global communities sticking together against a common enemy: hatred.
Having a child has given us so much hope, but the hate of some can make it easy to succumb to cynicism. We must not lose hope. As long as we stand together and see the good in each other, we can build a better world for all people.
Let’s switch topics for a second and talk about what’ going on in Pakistan.
The rising Islamaphobia has us all defensive and agitated. Understandable. But let’s be real with ourselves – are we doing any different with our minorities?

But ask yourself truthfully. Do we stand up for our minority community in Pakistan? Or do we treat them sort of like how Trump wants to treat Muslims in America?
