Recently, according to a thread posted on an online forum, a Muslim woman arrived to perform Umrah wearing clothes which are specifically assigned to Muslim men – the Ehram.
To perform the practices like Hajj and Umrah, Islam has enforced different dress codes on both men and women. Ladies are advised to wear normal clothes while men are advised to wear the Ehram, which is a combination of white sheets.
In the video, the woman – allegedly a Pakistani – can be seen wearing the Ehram, with people crowding around her.
Security officials can also be seen on the scene, looking quite confused.

While there is little confirmation regarding what really happened, when it happened, and who’s actually involved, people on that forum had a lot to say regarding the incident. In fact, people started speculating as well and the video started an odd debate.
Instead of investigating and understanding the actual situation, some people passed hateful comments.
A few also wondered if the lady was NOT aware of the Islamic rules, suggesting that maybe the lady was not guided properly.
Some assumed she belonged to the trans community.
Some people stepped in to allege that the person in the video was NOT a woman and instead was an Indian man
