Whether it’s writing insightful rap or just generally with his tweets and performances, there aren’t many comedians in Pakistan who manage to be quirky, cool and equally relevant. Speaking to MangoBaaz about his hilarious series, Ali Gul Pir says, “All over the world, people recreate images for various reasons. And since, in Pakistan, many photographs become controversial or viral. I thought we should recreate them to highlight how absurd or discrimantory some photographs can be. I’ve done humor through words and videos, I thought I should try it through images.”
