Pakistani-British boxer Amir Khan is back in the news, and once again, for all the wrong reasons. This time around Amir Khan actually presented a very intriguing theory related to gender and sexes. In an interview with BBC Asian Network, the 30-year-old boxer went on a misogynistic rant about his views on women. Let’s just say that after everything that happened this year, Amir has actually managed to one-up himself when it comes to making a joke out of himself.

Earlier this year, Amir Khan and his wife came under the spotlight for family drama that involved cheating rumors, pregnancy and an eventual reconciliation

The two split up with both of them accusing one another of cheating. Faryal announced her pregnancy immediately following the breakup. Then after going to several counseling sessions, the two got back together again.

Amir is now on the British reality show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! ‘ and he just made some outlandish remarks about women’s role in society

The interview was a trainwreck, to begin with, as soon as Amir opened his mouth.

“In my culture, women, that’s their job to do the cooking. They’re best at cooking”, he said, adding that because of this reason alone he himself doesn’t cook. Amir believes that a man’s job is to do hard work and hard labor related tasks in the house.

That’s not all, according to Amir, a man can actually turn into a woman if he even touches a household appliance such as a dishwasher

“I’ve got a dishwasher, washing machine, I’ve never actually known how to use these things. I would never touch those machineries, ever. You would turn into a woman. I’m a man. If I started dishwashing ….” were his exact words.

Well, people weren’t exactly happy with Amir’s remarks

Some were pointing out to Amir how flawed he was in making a generalization about ALL women

Others were calling out his bizarre AF remarks about turning into a woman upon touching household appliances
