Ayesha Gulalai had a whirlwind of what was an incredibly public showdown when she rose to national fame for claiming Imran Khan had sexually abused her. The accusations hurled the country into a debacle, with severely divided opinion regarding Imran Khan’s charisma, and inner party politics that swiftly unfurled.

And now the Member of Nati0nal Assembly stood before media outside the Election Commission of Pakistan and declared that she will not be leaving PTI

In her statement, she said that she “has given everything to the party,” before calling the party out for “lying as usual.”

Ayesha further stated that “PTI is not property of Imran Khan”

Pakistanis have unfortunately brewed a quick social storm online, and are attacking the politician for her statement, with some ushering her to a mental institute

And others hurling names Ayesha’s way

Some are suggesting reasons for why she is choosing to stay in the party

Derogatory judgments made their way underneath Ayesha’s announcement

This dude compared her to a reality TV star from India

And a few comments we’d rather not waste time dwelling upon

(Other than sir please control your tongue)!

Pakistanis really didn’t stop at anything to voice their rather unjust opinion

With some awful remarks regarding the politicia

And while a few odd, humorous and rather unrelated string of words did filter through

Others ushered Imran Khan to dismiss Ayesha

And then there were a few who declared her a terrorist

The abuse hurled towards Ayesha Gulalai is condemn-able. One can always disagree without abusing the person. What do you think of Ayesha’s comments? Do you think she deserves to be treated in such ill manner?
