Pakistan’s resident ghar jamai Captain Safdar has developed a bit of a reputation for his ignorance when it comes to matters about religious minorities. Back in October, he made some disparaging comments about the Ahmaddiya community. Captain(r) Safdar had accused the members of the entire community of working against National interests in front of the National Assembly. More specifically he stated that Ahmadis should not be recruited in the army, and even went on to point fingers at the Quaid-i-Azam University for renaming their physics department after the Nobel Laureate, Dr. Abdus Salam, because he belonged to the Ahmadi community.
So our Captain has once again in the news for being totally aloof about Pakistani minorities.
This time around, Captain Safdar apparently wished Merry Christmas to a Sikh gentleman saying “Eid Mubarak” to him

The incident took place outside the National Accountability Bureau court, apparently.
Luckily someone recorded the entire incident on camera

In the Captain’s defense, he is making an effort at least. I mean there really is no harm in wishing a non-Christian Merry Christmas.
Well people had some not-so-flattering things to say about Captain sahab here
