Chaudhry Nisar, one of the senior political leaders of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and former interior minister, just gave one of his infamous press conferences yesterday. There was much drama leading up to the press conference with regards to what statements or announcements the seasoned politician might make. Particularly of interest were the rumors that he might join rivals, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, ending his long-term affiliation with PML N.
In his trademark manner, Chaudhry Nisar made a very long winded, elaborate and utterly confusing statement with regards to his political stance and party affiliations
While he did make it clear that he wasn’t leaving PML N, even though he had been offered the opportunity to join PTI. He also hinted that while he still remains part of the current leading party, he does have grievances and that he has support of fellow party leaders who agree with him.
So, after the press conference ended people were left scratching their heads because the media circus leading up to the press conference made it appear as if Chaudhry sahab would announce his departure from PML N

Given that earlier during times of discontent with his party, Chaudhry sahab has held such press conferences and then announced virtually no developments, people were kind of done with this style of political maneuvering.
