Dreams allow us to reach high and claim previously uncharted territories. Dreams help make the impossible, possible. People who dream are the ones who may gamble with their fates but they’re also the ones who win big. It’s dreamers who make the world more exciting by bringing their vision to life.

Dreamers are people who aren’t afraid to chase the dreams they get. They find their own paths and carve out new concepts. They are the visionaries who are not afraid to take up challenges. The latest episode of Easypaisa Raahi illustrates this concept beautifully.

Easypaisa Raahi, featuring Umair Jaswal, is a unique travel series that not only takes you on a journey across Pakistan but also on one of exploring yourself

In the series, Umair is on a quest to finding out more about Pakistan as well as about himself. One of the best ways to learn about the previously unexplored is to meet those who chase the uncharted. This is where dreamers come in.

In the latest episode, Umair goes around Punjab, thinking about and meeting “dreamers” who have chosen to tread new paths in order to find their happiness

He introduces us to a number of such individuals who have learned to live their life according to their aspirations. And honestly, that’s the beauty of the episode.

Our dreamer number one  of the episode is our very own music legend Ali Azmat. Umair meets Ali Azmat on the fifth day of his journey and shares how how he has always been a fan of Ali Azmat, who rocked the stage with his curly tresses. From crashing the Junoon concerts as a teenager to becoming a close friend of Ali Azmat, Umair Jaswal did it all.

Umair credits Ali Azmat for bringing him into adventure biking and allowing him to become a dreamer with regards to his passion

In the episode, both of them geared up and set off on a crazy adventure. Ali Azmat, being Ali Azmat did a little bhangra while riding his heavy bike. Warning: Do not try this at home lol.

Here, Umair describes Ali as the dreamer who has made his own way in life through challenges and a lot of adventures.

Both of them then headed towards Kot Nasir Khan for lunch at a friend’s place and this friend is another kind of dreamer that Umair introduces us to

Umair tries to understand his friend Awais Khan’s dream of leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the world to live a simple life. Umair asks if moving from a fast paced city life to a slow, calm one in a village near Kasur gave him a chance to re-evaluate the meaning of life. Awais replied with the most beautiful words. He said his ambition has now come in a check. He no more shoots for the stars, as this Earth is so beautiful. Awais was truly a different sort of dreamer and people like you and I might find him strange for thinking like that.

Umair narrated that Awais made him realize the real essence we have so lost in this fast-paced world. We really never sit down and appreciate our ”now” or do we?

And then, Easypaisa Raahi explores another city of dreamers – Multan

Umair ponders over how Multan is a city of saints, who are dreamers of a spiritual kind and Multan became a hub for such people.

There, he met a participant of the show ”Rising Star” who had a dream to sing and made it possible by going on the show

Umair loved Zain’s passion to dream big and strive better. He also appreciated that Zain has a support system – his family – who allowed Zain to dream big by being there to cheer him along the way, every step of the way.

After Multan, Umair explores yet another city of dreamers with a very different background – visionary leaders who dream a future for their people

Umair visited Bahawalpur and while exploring all the palaces and grand princely buildings, Umair was particularly besotted by the Bahawalpur Central Library. There, Umair thought about the visionary leaders of Bahawalpur who built this library as a means of helping their community learn and become a better society.

At this point, Umair reminisces his conversations with all kinds of dreamers as he continues on to the next destination. Dreamers who dream big and even dreamers who aim to stay where they are, help make this world so much more exciting by showing everyone around them, all the opportunities to explore the world around us.

Umair ends the episode on a beautiful note on dreams and a heart touching poetry about journeys and obstacles. ‘Safar mein dhoop tou hogi, jo chal sako tou chalo.’
