*SPOILERS AHEAD*
Game of Thrones just came out with Episode Five of its final season and well, it was interesting.
To say the least.
Basically, to sum up, Dany burned every possible thing in Kings Landing, killed Cersei and Jamie in the absolute WORST way, Arya got a concussion and found a horse and honestly who the fuck knows where John and Tyrion are since there was barely any resolution in the entire episode.
I truly believe this is the motto of the whole show. #GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/XY1JRYJ7l4

Yeah. This episode was bad. It even got the lowest Rotten Tomato rating in the entire show’s history and that is SOMETHING. Fans all over the world have been criticizing the Writers and Directors of the show for half-assing the rest of the season and getting sloppy with the storylines.
Just last week, the famed Starbucks cup cameo was all everyone could talk about.

ALSO, IT HAPPENED IN A PREVIOUS SEASON!?
guys this starbucks coffee fiasco isn't nearly as bad as the time Jaime had both his hands AND was holding a coffee a couple seasons ago #GameofThrones #DemThrones pic.twitter.com/FKaPVslxvO

Yep, that’s right, somehow, a Starbucks cup made it onto the set of this GABIJILLION dollar production and NO ONE noticed. Not in filming and not while editing?? Either you’ve got the worlds sleepiest team or this is the most aggressive product placement I have seen in a while. So yeah, the whole thing was an epic fail and just when we thought it was over, episode five premiered.
Fans have now pointed out the second fuck-up in Game of Thrones: Jamie’s hand magically reappearing.

THAT’S RIGHT FOLKS, gold hand? Gone.
In Cersei and Jamie’s lame death scene, the brother and sister duo (had to throw it in one last time,) embraced for the last time, before being buried under a million bricks that Dany probably didn’t even know about until clean up later on. The whole scene was a ridiculous ending to the Lannister reign of Kings Landing but more so,
The very obvious error has been the talking point of fans everywhere.

Like!??!?!? HOW can you have one of the MAIN characters of Game of Thrones not wearing a full costume? LIKE BRO. This wasn’t just a cup left in the middle of filming it was an error that immediately destroyed notions of that world even existing. It was a big no.
Did anyone else catch that Jamie Lannister Right hand grew back to hug Cersei before their death?#GoT #GoTS8E5

This is obviously not a good look for the show and it’s a shame that while this will, for the most part, go down as one of the most successful shows in history, it is v sad for fans everywhere that it is not ending we had imagined for the Starks, Lannisters, Targaryen’s and hell, if Cersei’s death couldn’t satisfy us, what will?
Maybe this is the whole point of the ending. Maybe no one is supposed to be satisfied because that’s exactly how the writers want us to feel because out of all the happiness the series has brought, Game of Thrones is not one known to be kind and courteous to its viewers. All we can do is wait for the hopefully epic series finale that will either win us over tenfold and right all the wrongs or go down in blazing glory. Either way, good luck to us ALL.
