The dialogue from Mere Paas Tum Ho that has rang in every corner of Pakistan
Ever since the powerful latest episode of Mere Paas Tum Ho, the internet has been in a whirlwind. That’s because after many episodes of helplessness Danish- the ever-faithful husband getting cheated on by his wife- finally speaks up for himself.
For the viewers, Danish’s savagery in the episode was enough to get them out of the weekly frustration they felt and so they proceeded to make hilarious memes to celebrate.
From last week’s episode Humayun Saeed’s dialogue in Mere Paas Tum Ho has become a viral meme
After begging his wife to stay for so long, Danish finally lets her out of his life by calling her a Do Takkay Ki Larki.
Har Sakhat Londay Ka
Har Ashiq Ka

Even, Samina Peerzada was dragged in
Well, she also inserted herself into a very valid conversation about the misogynistic nature of the show and how its portrayal of women in an already patriarchal society may further deteriorate people’s attitudes toward working women.

Some are obviously very misogynistic since this dialogue, and this show, has started a very important debate about the portrayal of women by male writers
The writer of this drama, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is already infamous for holding extremely misogynistic views about women so there’s no surprise that he would appeal to the so-called “unwoke” fan base.

Mere Paas Tum Ho is only popular because the gender roles are reversed..Warna dunia main itnay saray “do takkay” ke mard bhi hain but sadly we have normalised men’s extra marital affairs.#MerePaasTumHo

Some people are also couldn’t hold back their jokes about the similar names of Danish the character and Ayeza Khan’s real-life husband Danish Taimoor
