It wasn’t long ago when Noman Ijaz went on board with admitting that he casually ”cheats” on his wife. On today’s episode of Pakistani celebrities uttering problematic stuff, we have Iffat Omar.

Short after the Noman Ijaz’s interview, a clip surfaced in which Iffat admitted doing retakes just to hug Rahat Kazmi

Iffat Omar hosts a web show on Najam Sethi’s official YouTube channel called ”Say It All with Iffat Omar”. Talking to her guests Hareem Farooq and Ali Rehman Khan, Iffat admitted to having a massive crush on Rahat Kazmi. She mentioned that she used to hug the actor deliberately even when he was playing her father’s role.

However, in another video, Iffat Omar is seen joking about the new punishment for rapists

Talking about the castration punishment for rapists, Iffat says the authorities would find it easy switching from dog castration to rapists’ castration.  It’s 2020 and we are still “joking” about things that are absolutely horrific.

This is still not the end. Without taking any name directly, Iffat Omar implies some offensive stuff about our leadership

Iffat hosts a show ”Pass Kar Ya Bardasht Kar With Iffat Omar” on Sujag Videos YouTube Channel. She calls certain leaders a product of a failed experiment by some ”ujarra hoa scientist.”

People are calling out Iffat Omar for her shocking statements

They believe that her content is not funny or relevant at all

She is being bashed for insulting the Prime Minister as well

…and for making insensitive jokes

People are asking her not to lose her hard-earned respect with such gimmicks

It is disappointing to see celebrities making irresponsible statements, while they could have used their platform to promote more awareness. Iffat Omer is a well-known name in the industry, but she definitely needs to draw a line between humor and a serious offense. Violating someone’s consent, making jokes on rapists’ punishment, and straight-up insulting someone – these things aren’t really funny at all.
