Former Indian cricketer, politician and television host has always maintained close ties with Pakistan, in particular with close friend Imran Khan – who came to Pakistan to support Imran’s oath-taking ceremony,

However, in recent light of one of the most deadliest attacks in Indian administered Kashmir in recent history, ties between both India and Pakistan have been severed. After T Series banned Pakistani artists and removed their songs from their social media platforms, Bollywood actors also agreed on it best to break all threads attached to Pakistan
Sidhu has now triggered Indians after his comment on the Pulwana attacks, saying that “a nation could not be held responsible for the acts of terrorists and that terrorism as no religion.”
He is undeniably right; the actions of a few cannot justify an entire nation, however after he stated his opinion, a trend began on social media to remove the famous personality from the show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show.’ The mounting pressure forced production house Sony TV to remove Sidhu from the show.
Kapil Sharma reacted to the decision to sack Sidhu, condemning it and said that “banning someone or sacking Navjot Singh Sidhu from the show is not the solution.”
He said instead of sacking Sidhu, the producers of the show need to find a “permanent solution.”
Sidhu said that he was “unaware of the development” after the channel decided to replace him with actor Archana Puran Singh.
