Mahira Khan in Superstar’s Noori – an absolute treat, and Osman Khalid Butt is her perfect match.

At this point, I should have a column dedicated to Mahira Khan. Are we really surprised that I’m back, yet again, to praise the Queen in the South for her incredibly catchy song, Noori, from her upcoming film, ‘Superstar’? No, we are not. And if you’re new to this, sit back and relax, because the next few minutes will be me gushing over Mahira Khan and Osman Khalid Butt.

Here we go:

So, Noori starts off very Bollywood, and I’m not complaining. We have this shot of Mahira’s gorgeous eyes and I have to say, eyeliner game strong hai kaafi.

Also, can we talk about that impactful gaze for a second? Homegirl could gaze into your soul with that penetrative look.

The song features choreography that is reminiscent of Madhuri’s dance numbers.

The thumkas, the wardrobe, even the sound – it’s familiar, in a good way. It’s what Bollywood buffs are used to hearing.

Honestly, all this song needs is for a coming-of-age character to make an entrance and sing about her ghagra being breaking news. Also, at this point, I have to say that I was unaware that Mahira Khan was THIS good. I mean, look at her absolutely nailing that dance number, and it looks effortless too. Man, what a queen.

Also, Osman Khalid Butt is in the song and boy, oh boy, he is GOOD.

I know Obi’s into dancing, but hoooooly heck, he is burning up that dance floor. Oof. And his expressions in the song? Phenomenal.

If y’all don’t know this, I stan these two harder than anyone else in the industry. Obi is a woke king, Mahira is an overall queen and together, they’re basically perfect and a power-packed punch – which is exactly what this song delivers. It’s everything I didn’t know I needed.

Can we just…? Like…? I can’t.

Sizzle city.

The song is hella upbeat, and I already see this being added to the list of shaadi songs this wedding season. Likh lo.

Overall, if you’re asking for my two cents, I’ll just say this – do yourself a favor and give this song a listen.

Here’s the video for this absolute banger.

Give it a listen and let me know what you think in the comments below.
