All through the weekend, Lahore was host to the HUM Bridal Couture Week. Yesterday was the last day of the three-day fashion extravaganza.
By far, the best designer of the night had to be Mehdi.
He played around with color, blocking loud colors with each other, creating elegant bridal outfits.
Mehdi featured some gorgeous dupattas, which will make you go all sorts of gaga.
Like, literally, jaw-dropping stuff!
His collection also featured an ivory and gold bridal, that left the entire hall swooning.
Mehdi usually plays around with purples and maroons, both colors featured heavily in this collection also.
He even mixed gold in with purples and pinks.
The rest of the third day was also pretty fantastic!
Annus Abrar had a very traditional collection, that featured a lot of maroons and deep reds

Munib Nawaz featured quite the experimental collection.
The stripes and prints we showed were quite different and definitely was eye-catching.
Nickie Nina dabbled in digital print, mixed in with traditional kaam.
Even their velvet numbers were exquisite.
The King of Couture, HSY, showed a fusion collection.
He added desi flair to this year’s hottest trend- the power suit.

Needless to say, he ended the show with a BANG.

Although the HUM Bridal Couture Week was scheduled quite late (considering the season already started), the exhibition of designs and impressive to say the least, especially on the last day. Who were your favorite designers from the three-day event?
