Was 2021 Pepsi’s year or what? After bringing us hit after hit under the coveted phrase ‘Why Not Meri Jaan’, Pepsi has decided to give us one more for the road as we lie on the cusp of the year 2022.
Pepsi has teased yet another track, this time with musician Haider Mustehsan and rapper, Rozeo. In 40 seconds only, we’ve gotten amazing glimpses of retro visuals, entrancing vocals, and dance moves that we can’t help but groove to from our homes!
Not only that, but Pepsi has FINALLY tapped into the emerging modern dance scene in Pakistan. Dance is a beautiful form of expression in our country and most weddings these days celebrate this idea as well.
The Pakistani music industry is beginning to embrace modern dance culture and from the looks of their new teaser, Pepsi is leading the way to a dance revolution!
I don’t know about you, but we’ve been waiting for this!
Here’s what we anticipate for this new release and why we think this would be the ‘IT’ song to groove to in 2022. One word comes to mind. VIBES.
This teaser gives us good vibes from start to finish. The vibrant clothing and unique choreography are the biggest highlights of the teaser and let’s not forget, Haider Mustehsan and Rozeo have shown us what awesome dance moves really are.
Dance has always been a big part of the Pakistani entertainment industry but has increasingly been gaining more clout over the last few years.
The dance-music combination is something that Pepsi is doing extremely well.
It’s especially refreshing to see the fresh talent that Pepsi brings from both the music industry and the dance industry.
Speaking of dance, dare we say this track has the blueprint of an iconic ‘Mehndi’ song? We’ve only heard 40 seconds but we’re already anticipating that this song will be on repeat during weddings for both coordinated dances and for people to generally vibe to from wherever they are!
Either way, this track is going to be everywhere and we can’t contain our excitement! Pepsi never disappoints and will surely hit the mark with this track too! If you haven’t watched the teaser yet, be sure to check it now. Here it is.
