We have legit news that we’re getting our first PF Chang’s in Lahore.
(You can now check out more about the restaurant by clicking here)
P.F. Chang’s a la carte menu offers some very exciting Asian food options cooked with the freshest ingredients and made-from-scratch sauces and gravies. Having started in 1993, the United States’ first multi-unit restaurant now has over 200 locations in the US alone and over 60 locations in 19 countries across the globe.
Pakistan is the 20th country P.F. Chang’s is coming to
Pakistanis who have traveled abroad and tried out P.F. Chang’s have always come back singing praises of their Dynamite Shrimps and Sesame Chicken. So, it is only natural that we deprived foodies can’t wait to try out their food. Most of the dishes at PF Chang’s in Lahore will be and have been cooked in a Northern-style Chinese wok over 1000 degrees Celsius. This creates a “breath of wok” thus giving the food its signature smoky, unique taste and caramelized, crispy textures.
What’s on the p(a)late?
PF Chang’s in Lahore will have a very identifiable stone horse that will stand guard at the entryway of the upscale casual restaurant located at 17 C-1 MM Alam road.
P.F. Chang’s menu will include guest favorites like The Original Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Mongolian Beef, The Original Dynamite Shrimp, Chang’s Spicy Chicken, Cheng-du Lamb in addition to a wide variety of handmade Sushi and Dim Sum items.
PF Chang’s in Lahore will also be offering its guests with specialty cocktail offerings and variety of dessert options from the unique P.F. Chang’s bakery, “The Pastry Lab”.
Lahore loves its Asian food
No matter how many Pan-Asian eateries open up, budget or expensive, we welcome them with open hearts, stomachs, and wallets. With many local Asian restaurants opened in the recent years and having introduced more or less the same items on the menu, will P.F. Chang’s have a difficult time breaking into the market? Or will the Lahori foodies keep this place booked for nights and nights? It’s hard to predict but we’re guessing it’ll be the latter.
The restaurant will be located among many more on Lahore’s prominent M. M Alam Road
M.M Alam Road in Gulberg is known to have a variety of food, be it pizza parlors or fast food or continental cuisine – hence it’s almost fitting that the new Pan Asian addition is going to be located on the road. Moreover, Gulberg itself is a central location so it’s quickly approachable from several parts of Lahore. So yippee!
PF Chang’s in Lahore will be open Sundays to Thursdays 12pm-12am and Fridays to Saturdays 12pm-1am. The restaurant has opened and you can read about our visit to it over HERE.
