Pakistan is home, it is love. You can never thank Mr. Jinnah, and many others, enough who worked so hard and sacrificed so much to give us a country to call our own. No matter where you go in the world, you cannot deny the fact that Pakistan, Pakistan hai. Iski baat hi aur hai.
Here are a few Pakistani things, that you just can’t experience elsewhere:
1. Monkeys with flower crowns in Murree and Nathia Gali
These monkeys are seen on the mountains in their natural habitat, with their families, chilling out and having fun eating corn and wearing cute little flower crowns that people put on them. Where else can you see such a sight?
2. Waiters running after your car to take your order
They fight each other in trying to shove their menus in your car, Itni izzat aur kahan mill sakti hai?
3. Getting duaain on every signal
Allah tenu mercedez de, soni baaji/saab de.
Allah dono di jori salaamat rakhay .
Hehe *blushes* (unless you’re sitting with your brother)
4. Anday wala burger
None other like it.
5. Strangers telling you “aapka dupatta bahir hai”
And it always such a thankful feeling, because Sana Safinaz ain’t cheap.
6. Desi soda
Soday se zyada refreshing kia hosakta hai?
7. Sabzi on your door step
Who wants to hit the market when sabzi waala comes to your door step and even calls out for the whole neighborhood to buy some?
8. Forgetting all differences and supporting Pakistan in cricket against India
Its hard not be a victim of cricket fever when Pakistan is playing against India. Even people who aren’t cricket fans glue their eyes to their TV screens and pray for Pakistan’s victory.

9. Gol Gappay in every corner of your city
The Gol Gappa stalls can be propped up just about anywhere, even if its right in the middle of a busy road.

11. Being able to show your support for your political party through dharnas
Nothing defines unity more than showing a flag of the party you support and watching another set of strangers holding the same flag and giving them the I-don’t-know-you-but-you’re-awesome look.

13. Loving a drama like Alpha Bravo Charlie and hating on a drama like Mann Mayal together
It’s a divine feeling to know that there’s something the whole country agrees on
14. Your country having THE Coke Studio
The format of Coke Studio Pakistan was devised by the Coca-Cola Company in Pakistan and Rohail Hyatt, founder of the first Pakistani pop band Vital Signs, along with his wife Umber Hyatt. Both were the executive producers of the show, Coke Studio Pakistan inspired India as well Arabs, Africans and so many other places to follow the suit, but none of them could beat Pakistan’s success.

15. Being the home to legends that are renowned all over the world
Including Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Mehdi Hassan, Noor Jehan, Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Abida Parveen, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and many many others, who have made Pakistan proud on an international level.
16. Being home to beauty
Pakistanis are beautiful. Especially this one guy 😉

17. Pakistan being the home to the most beautiful places in the world
If this picture can soothe your eyes, imagine what being there in real life must be like.
18. And finally, the people and their strength
They may be poor, they may be hungry, they may be homeless, they may be destitute, they may be broken, they may be shattered but the people of Pakistan continue to be resilient and power through anything and everything that life, and those in control, have to offer.
No amount of words can ever cover the wonderful and amazing things that Pakistan hold and I’m sure I must have missed out many of those things, but what we all can agree on is that Pakistan is our life and our eternal love, nothing can ever change that.
