It’s funny for us all when politicians like Mufti Kifayatullah make quotes like this because these are entertainment for us all. However, this is also a testament to the fact that political leaders in our part of the world are sadly not well informed about world matters, especially the conservative, religiously aligned ones. In order to lead a nation, as their aspiration seems to be, in the current world, it’s extremely important that our leaders learn to not be THAT stupid. Is it too much to ask?
