Horror stories are scary but they’re also very addictive so when the hashtag #SixWordHorrorStory started trending, it was obvious that it was going to be hilarious as much as it was going to be scary AF. Pakistanis never disappoint and came up with some pretty hilarious yet bone-chilling stories. It’s amazing how only six words can instill so much fear in you.
Trends like these were incredibly popular in the past when paid tweets and orchestrated (usually political) trends did not exist. So it’s honestly refreshing to see something like this in the top trends again.
The first tweet with the hashtag appears on an Australian student’s timeline. Who was possibly writing about a real life horror story; her exam! And since then, the hashtag caught on like wildfire as people all over the world started tweeting their own six word horror stories.

And of course, Pakistanis decided to add their own kahanis to the mix. And the results were pretty entertaining as well as relatable.
This one is honestly a personal nightmare for me

But honestly, I can’t help but be impressed at how people can put incredibly vivid and scary thoughts into your head with just the use of 6 words. And okay, I admit some were more hilarious that horrific but hey, it was still good entertainment with just the use of six letters. It takes a special kind of talent to do that.
