Incredible India is a famous slogan for the marketing campaign by the Government of India to promote tourism in the country. While the country may be enjoying droves of tourists, it has had tense relations with Pakistan ever since the birth of the two nations. Of late, relations between the historic rivals have become particularly sour. The Indian defense minister stated recently that the “window of opportunity for Pakistan to mend relations with India was slowly closing”.

Pakistan’s twitter world has always been quick to voice their opinion on everything so they followed this by trended #incredibleindia

And a whole lot of “incredible” opportunities for India were brought to light by the Pakistani Twitterati. Here is a glimpse into what these Pakistanis think, why India is incredible.

1. This lady concerned with the poop situation in India

4. Okay, this headline, if true, is really disconcerting

And not because the dead women are Muslim.

7. This one’s got even more statistics

Okay, throwing numbers without stating the source does make an ordinary by-stander question whether those numbers are even real or if they’re politically motivated.

8. People in Pakistan seem to be particularly interested in the incredibly shocking suicide rates in India

13. Finally, this person has something to say to everyone being incredibly passionate

For once someone did say something on Twitter that makes incredible sense.

What Pakistanis on Twitter, and elsewhere, must realize is that India’s incredible-ness may be tarnished thanks to the rape stats, murder rates and rapidly growing population that lives under the poverty line. But all of this doesn’t mean that things back home are any better. Let’s all focus on working toward the positives and helping change the problems each country has within itself before pointing fingers at anyone else.

Pakistan Zinda’abad.
