Ehd e Wafa legit lifted the scene from Peaky Blinders… WTF
‘Ehd e Wafa’ has sorted out our Sunday nights for us. We are pretty much hooked to the infamous SSG. The boys are doing a great job with all their mischiefs, problems and nalaikis but the latest episode has made some fans really uncomfortable.
Fans are mad after the last episode of ‘Ehd e Wafa’ left them extremely uncomfortable and to make it worse it was legit copied from the British show ‘Peaky Blinders’
Last night’s episode had a pretty distasteful scene when Shahzain, played by Osman Khalid Butt, shot his horse. Yes, you heard it right. He legit shot his own horse!
Just to give you a background on the scene, the loyal SSG came to blows over ”girl” issues. Shahzain was pulled out of college and when his horse couldn’t win a race, he lost his mind completely.
He furiously ordered his servants to bring the guilty animal and made them blindfold it.
He then pointed his pistol on the poor animal’s head and… well, he did the deed
For what it’s worth, the show did not show the actual act of the horse dying and the blurred out the pistol when Osman’s character pointed it at the horse but the whole concept left fans extremely distressed
People are absolutely baffled at ‘Ehd e Wafa’ for showing such a disturbing scene
Disgusting. The promos suggest it's a light rom-com coming of age story that even kids can watch. Then they go ahead & have one of the leads blindfold a horse followed by a pistol shot. Even if in the script, why not argue against it & not show it after getting a few opinions?

Fans have flooded Osman Khalid Butt’s Instagram with a lot of questions
And Osman is out there defending himself
People accused him of glorifying animal abuse
And they wanted the channel to have run disclaimers for this scene
Even if it is a fictional drama, fans are asking for a disclaimer to have been run so that it is, firstly, made clear that no animals were harmed during this scene and, secondly, that young children and impressionable folk be warned that such a difficult scene was going to be happening in this episode.
People also pointed out that the scene from ‘Ehd e Wafa’ had more than a passing similarity to a scene from Peaky Blinders
Is Shahzain the next Shelby?
And of course, like always, hilarious jokes are being cracked over ‘Ehd e Wafa’ so blatantly ripping off of the beloved British series

Obviously no animals were hurt in any way… I hope. But I don’t think the audience can digest such an intense scene in a light rom-com drama that Ehd e Wafa was presented to us as. A disclaimer would definitely have been the most appropriate route to go.
Did Shahzain’s ruthless actions impress you or are you pissed at Ehd e Wafa team too? Let us know in the comments.
