Did Iqra Aziz copy Priyanka Chopra?

As the year swiftly moved towards the peak of the shaadi season, one celebrity couple that we’ve all been excited for finally tied the knot. The wedding festivities started off with a simple yet beautiful mayun, later the ceremony of mehndi was held and after the couple got nikkah-fied in a grand ceremony yesterday they had an intimate valima ceremony.

Iqra looked stunning on ALL four days

She glowed in a  peela jorra on her mayoon. On the other day, Iqra looked mehndi perfect in her traditional mustard yellow frock. She wore a beautiful traditional red lehenga by Nomi Ansari on her nikkah and finally a silver/gray outfit for her valima, by Sadaf Fawad Khan.

While the actress looked gorgeous in her nikkah jorra, people on social media have been debating if Iqra Aziz copied Priyanka Chopra for her shaadi look

Priyanka got married a year ago and that too in the same month, the actress wore a red lehanga choli designed by Sabyasachi

People were curious to know if Iqra Aziz copied Priyanka Chopra and her lehanga was inspired by Priyanka’s outfit

There is no doubt that Priyanka Chopra’s look did start a trend for deep all red traditional shaadi looks lately. Quite a few brides, famous and ordinary ones, have sported similar shades.

But people are accusing the designer of Iqra’s dress Nomi Ansari for copying the design by Sabyasachi

 

A few thought that the looks of Iqra Aziz and Priyanka Chopra could literally be carbon copies of each other

But there were people who argued that Iqra Aziz looked more stunning than Priyanka Chopra

They defended Iqra by saying that red color is the traditional color of the South Asian lehangay and many brides wear it
