Pakistani cricket has seen some interesting events recently. Shaheen Shah Afridi asked fans to share their costume design ideas to which Shadab quipped with his reply. We were just as confused as others but then the big reveal finally came on 18th Nov with Shaheen and Shoaib Malik announcing they are joining hands with Babar Azam and Shadab for Free Fire’s Invincible Squad!
After proving their class on the field, these players are now coming up with some interesting collaborative content with Free Fire. It’s the first time in Pakistan that players are collaborating with a globally acclaimed game, and promoting it among youngsters as esports is a growing industry.
This collaboration will bring new in-game costumes designed by our very own Shaheen, Shoaib, Shadab, and Babar. The players are excited to share the in-game costumes with the fans who will be able to acquire and even flex them! Although we noticed some hints towards a music video, nothing is confirmed yet, but we can’t help but imagine how exciting would it be to see our favorite players in a music video!
We’re also hoping for Pakistan’s very own in-game characters like Hrithik Roshan from India and Cristiano Ronaldo globally. Let’s fasten our seatbelts for what our stars and Free Fire bring next!
This is a really good step taken by our stars to promote esports in our country. Gaming is a growing industry with numerous opportunities for youngsters. This collaboration will indeed prove to be really fruitful for mobile gaming in Pakistan.
