You are pretty accustomed to seeing the beautiful side of Pakistani landscape in the northern regions of our country. And they don’t call it the Switzerland of the East for nothing. The majesty of the mountains, the greenery of the valleys and the freshness of the flowing rivers will take your breath away.
But there is so much more to Pakistan than just the North
And we have proven that with these 17 gorgeous places that are not in the North of Pakistan.
One city in particular that does not get its fair share of glory is Sukkur
The third largest city of Sindh province, Sukkur is a historic city situated at the banks of River Indus.
Sukkur was the capital of this region when Alexander the Great invaded India
Known back then as Alor or Aror, under the reign of Musikanos, Sukkur was the capital of the region when Alexander came to India with his forces in 326 BC. And the ruins of that ancient town exist to this very day.
