Ramazan special drama ‘Suno Chanda‘ has taken drama fans by storm. It’s addicting, speckled in more than just comedy; deep down it has got one massive beating heart that just makes you feel like you’re home watching it. I was skeptical at first, what with so many incredibly tedious dramas streaming on telly minus the odd few, but the first episode already had me hooked.

It spawned a whole bunch of copycat dramas with the standard template of a baatooni couple who are always bickering with each other and a set of quirky characters for family members. Throw in a hate-turned-love angle for the leads and you’ve got a perfect Suno Chanda rip off.
