Babri Masjid incident was turned into a school play at this Indian school
Often, from across the border, comes a piece of news that disappoints us to our cores and pours water all over the hopes of peace for the coexistence of multiple religions within one place. A piece of similarly disappointing news was recently highlighted when a school in the city of Karnataka, India held a grand play featuring a really sensitive topic.
An Indian school in the state of Karnataka featured the reenactment of the demolition of Babri Masjid
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is an Indian right-wing, Hindu nationalist paramilitary volunteer organization that is widely regarded as the parent organization of BJP. The school Sri Rama Vidyakendra High School, run by an RSS leader Prabhakar Bhat, made its students perform a play where they reenacted the scene of the demolition of Babri Masjid, all the while, backed up by the narration.
A school in Karnataka run by a RSS leader is making it's students re-enact the demolition of the Babri Masjid
This is the future of education in India when the RSS-BJP takeover of our society is complete.
And this is why it's our duty to resist.pic.twitter.com/eg7IPzz3zw

After the reenacted demolition of Babri Masjid, the student actors also went a step further and built the Ram Mandir in the said play
The school children made a formation of the Ram Mandir which was proposed to be built in place of Babri Masjid, in the real life incident.
Another formation d school children made was of the proposed Shri Ram Mandir at #Ayodhya. All such performances enabled d school ensure all of its 3800+ school children participate in d annual festival of Sri Rama Vidya Kendra, Kalladka Village, near Mangalore @PTI_News @ANI pic.twitter.com/IdaoySuBY4

People stated their fear for the future generations of India as well as the nation, as a whole about the values that such schools are teaching
DISGUSTING and SCARY I feel so sorry for those kids, coz in my opinion school activities play a huge role in shaping a kids fresh mind….I can still remember my skits, speeches, debates from school time!!

Teaching the future generations to hate will not achieve any success Hate on religious and colour base only brings darkness in their life and for the country These people would not be able to interact in any society. Already 90% people have mental health issues in India

It's not just hatred for Muslims, but the fact that young minds being filled with destructive negative bigoted feelings is going to impact the children in their own household and society at large later and this will come back and bite their own.

Some went ahead and labeled this as the downfall of Indian democracy and state

Such actions are deplorable and deserve to be shunned from society if it wants to remain socially breathing. It is indeed shameful for India to be moving in such a direction. At the same time, while calling out India, we should be mindful of where our society is heading and remember to address the issues within ourselves as and when they occur.
