Kya kaha? Takashi’s Castle is planning to have a comeback with a bang?

Yes, you heard it right. Amazon prime is all set to bring back the iconic game show Takeshi’s Castle and we cannot stop ourselves from screaming.

Takeshi’s Castle was originally aired in Japan from 1986 to 1990 through Tokyo’s broadcasting system.

For the generation who knew nothing about Netflix and chill, Takeshi’s Castle served as a comfort show where the sumo rings and stepping stone games were the best kind of after-school entertainment we could ever had. The Japanese game show was broadcasted in more than 150 countries and later on, dubbed by the utterly talented Indian comedian Javed Jaffrey which became an instant hit all over the sub-continent.

As soon as the fans were made aware of the revival of the iconic show, they can’t seem to help but go down memory lane. The show is reportedly expected to be aired under the title of Fukkatsu! Fun! Takeshi-jo on Amazon prime by the year 2023. It is not yet clear if the legend Takeshi Kitano, himself will be back on the show or not but the fans have already started demanding to bring back Javed Jeffrey back as the official commentator.

While as much as we are excited to see Takeshi’s castle once again, we know that if it is not going to be dubbed by Javed Jaffrey, it is not going to be the same.
But who knows someday we might also get a surprise dubbed version by Javed Jaffery as the cherry on top? Well, we cannot predict anything for now but the latest tweet from Javed Jaffery himself, is definitely hinting at something exciting.

Let us know what you think about the remake of one of the most popular Japanese shows.

Do you think it is going to be as good as it used to be in the past or will it turn out to be an utter disappointment for the millennials?_________________________________________________________________________________________
