Largest Women Entrepreneurs’ Exhibition, 12th Wexnet 2025, commenced today in Expo Center Lahore, organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan(TDAP). Wexnet 2025-an event that underscores the immense contributions of women entrepreneurs and professionals in Pakistan. The three day exhibition welcome attendees daily from 10 AM to 10 PM, with free entry for families. The purpose of Wexnet 2025 is to highlight the skills and capabilities of Pakistani women entrepreneurs and integrate them into the economy.
Jawad Paul Khwaja, Federal Secretary of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce inaugurated Wexnet2025. He said that the government will provide further financial assistance to women entrepreneurs as our goal is to uplift women entrepreneurs at every level. Highlighting the significance of Wexnet 2025, he said that this Wexnet 2025 exhibition will benefit all women entrepreneurs. He appreciated the efforts of TDAP in their commitment to empowering women.
The inaugural ceremony was followed by a captivating cultural performance. NETP (National Export Training Program) also conducted a training session on first day of the exhibition. The vibrant event was graced by the presence of eminent Pakistani designers, government officials and women entrepreneurs. The event promises a dynamic experience for all attendees, blending professional engagement with community participation. On the first day of exhibitions, families enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere enriched with activities such as cooking competitions, lucky draws, and interactive product sampling. Food courts offering a diverse range of cuisines to complement the array of exhibits, ensuring a memorable experience for visitors of all ages.
Wexnet 2025 is dedicated to empower women entrepreneurs in Pakistan, with over 200 participants showcasing a diverse range of products and services. The exhibition features textiles, apparel, jewelry, handicrafts, cookware, herbal skincare, e-commerce, and export-ready goods. Esteemed participants includes members from Women Chambers of Commerce and Industry such as Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi and Karachi and FPCCI, and many more, representing the talent and innovation of women-led ventures. Vocational training institutions like Sanatzar and Bait ul Maal department also contributing and offering attendees an inspiring glimpse into heritage crafts, contemporary designs, and sustainable solutions, reflecting the vibrant creativity of Pakistan’s women entrepreneurs.
This year’s theme, “Empowering Women, Strengthening Economies: Building a Brighter Future Together”, reflects the pivotal role women play in driving innovation, fostering economic growth, and enriching society. The event goes beyond traditional showcases, highlighting the achievements of architects, exporters, athletes, and clothes, alongside entrepreneurs who have successfully built businesses across diverse sectors.
