Foreigners, or Goras (becharay non-goras) as we like to call them all, have been coming to Pakistan for a very long time:

And taking in life as a pukka desi

But with changing times, the mainstream media – international, as well as local – has created this image of Pakistan as a brutal, war torn, savaged country where life is on a standstill. Thanks to the internet, and alternative platforms (much like MangoBaaz itself), people are now becoming aware of how vibrant Pakistan actually is.

This is why anyone who visits Pakistan is taken aback by the hospitable, loving, compassionate, kind and mad fun people that we are.

Here is a compilation of  when the firangis are on the loose, here in the land of the pure:

They come for the spiritual journey

Like this guy in front of a charas (hashish) store in the 1960s (haww haii).

And stay for the culture

Sadly, basant related tourism is a thing of the past.

But there are many other “cultural” reasons foreigners visit our beautiful land. Like our embroidery, done by women using only their hands:

Pakistani food is also a MAJOR attraction

After all, Pakistani hospitality is best expressed through food 🙂

Of course, when you add Pakistani people to the mix, it is a whole lot better

Actually, the people of Pakistan are really special

Because we are all very loving

And fun

And beautiful

They always marvel at the stunning visuals Pakistan has in store

The are intrigued by everything Pakistan has to offer

The good

And… not so good

To make sure they don’t take back memories like this, you need to make sure you don’t create opportunities for memories like this.

The vibrant hustle and bustle of our cities is extremely infectious

And Pakistan’s culture, beauty and the sun makes them fall in eternal love with it

Making them never want to leave, ever.
