‘Tis the season of football, my friends.

And for that very reason, the Karachi United Women’s football team has come into the spotlight as well.

The Karachi United Women’s Team was founded under Karachi United in 2010. Since then they have been playing tournaments at a national as well as an international level.

An Instagram account shared an image of the team in their uniforms and of course, some people were not very happy with the fact that they were wearing shorts.

But the women of Karachi United were anything but rattled since criticism is part and parcel of their job.

But this time, instead of ignoring the hate as usual. The women decided to make a video reading the mean comments and responding to them.

And their responses were hella funny.

The hate itself was pretty vicious.

But the girls remained unfazed.

Some haters tried to be funny.

And to be honest, it worked and got a chuckle out of the football players.

Some people called them a national level shame.

Um, how about national treasures? Thank you!

Others decided to give them a whole entire lecture.

But it wasn’t all bad.

Faith in humanity restored. A little.

But in the end, the women talked about how this response is not new for them and they remain unfazed by it.

They had a message for the haters in the form of a hashtag, #LibaasChoroDimaghKholo

And honestly, a great message indeed.

Let’s not look at what people wear but what they can do instead. So what do you think about their message? Let us know in the comments!
